The farm contains a large propagation nursery which exports plants to 25 countries around the world. There is a ancient ring fort on the farm land which dates back almost 2000 years. For guests who are interested, the hosts would be delighted to give them a complimentary tour of the nursery or the Ring fort.

Kilkenny City is 15 minutes drive away, and Waterford City is only 25 minutes distant. The ferry terminal at Rosslare may be reached in approximately one hour. Thomastown, Jerpoint Abbey and Heritage Park, and Kells Priory are all very close. Oldtown Farmhouse lies one kilometre from Mount Juliet Golf course.
