Rathmullan House is a stunning, 4 star hotel found on the coast in County Donegal. The historic property was built in 1820 as a summer house for the family of Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Knox. In the 1960's, it became a family run hotel, and today it continues to offer travellers a lovely place where they can slow down and relax.

Rathmullan House has 31 ensuite bedrooms, all of which feature individual décor, carefully sourced antiques and comfortable beds. Guests can choose from superior, standard, single and family rooms. Rooms include toiletries, hair dryer, bathrobes, iron, ironing board, and tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary WiFi in all bedrooms and public areas.

The gorgeous property features cosy lounges, beautiful gardens and an indoor swimming pool. If that wasn’t enough, a long stretch of beach is just steps from the house. It is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll, horse riding, swimming and relaxing.

After a day of activities, guests can treat themselves to dinner at the Cook & Gardener Restaurant, which serves award winning food. Pavilion, the new outdoor space will serve wood fired pizzas and homemade ice creams. Situated on the lawns of the hotel the traditional, canvas, king pole tent, Pavilion will be open during the summer months.

The house is only half an hour's drive from the spectacular Glenveagh National Park and Castle. The extensive 16,000 hectare park consists of mountains, rare raised bog land, lakes and woodland. It also contains the largest red deer herd in the country.
