Located in the city centre, The Merrion is one of Dublin’s most luxurious five star hotels. Created from 4 Georgian Townhouses, facilities include 2 bars, 2 restaurants, drawing rooms, private gardens, 18m pool and fully equipped gymnasium.

The Merrion is set in the heart of Georgian Dublin, just opposite the home of the Irish Government, and steps from The National Gallery and St Stephen’s Green. The luxurious, five star hotel comprises four meticulously restored 18th-century townhouses and a specially commissioned contemporary Garden Wing that is arranged around two private period gardens.

Over the years, The Merrion has established itself as the epitome of relaxed grandeur, welcoming Dubliners and visitors to the city with stunningly appointed rooms, crackling turf fires and a host of facilities. The hotel features 123 guest rooms and 19 suites with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay, such as individually controlled air conditioning, WiFi access, mini-bar and in-room safe.

While staying at the Merrion, guests can discover renowned restaurants and bars. The Garden Room restaurant offers Irish cuisine expertly executed, while Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud is perfect for formal dining and boasts two Michelin stars. For a drink at the end of the day, visitors can stop into The Cellar Bar, set in the original 18th-century wine vaults, or the intimate cocktail bar, No 23. During the spring and summer months, guests can relax out on the Garden Terrace, while the Drawing Rooms are perfect for afternoon tea any time of year.

The tranquil experience continues at The Merrion Spa and Health Club, an ideal place to unwind, restore and invigorate the body and mind. Surrounded by gentle interiors, technologically advanced fitness equipment, an expansive infinity swimming pool, steam room and luxurious spa treatment areas, The Merrion Spa and Health Club brings relaxation, well-being and fitness to the fore.

With its host of amenities and luxurious surroundings, it’s no surprise The Merrion is one of Dublin's most sought-after venues for corporate and private functions, including weddings. The hotel boasts six magnificent rooms dedicated to private dining and corporate meetings. Designed to be used separately or in combination, the six salons vary in size and décor.
