The Burren Farm Experience gives bespoke guided tours within the magnificent surroundings of the Burren National Park. The Burren is part of a UNESCO Global Geopark and is a Special Area of Conservation in County Clare, on the west coast of Ireland.

Discover a region rich in history, archaeology and biodiversity along the rugged Atlantic coastline. Stroll through an authentic Irish beef farm with spectacular scenery in County Clare.

Step into wild open countryside covered in limestone terrain and alluvial woodland. Experience a tour that allows you to taste, feel, forage and walk through one of Ireland’s most unique landscapes.

Explore the geological and historical landmarks on a farm walk or help feed the calves at feeding time. After an enjoyable day in the great outdoors, enjoy a barbecue or charcuterie picnic.

  • See a diverse range of rare alpine and arctic flowers within the Burren National Park.
  • Experience the thrill of feeding calves at feeding time.
Tips from locals

When walking to the calcareous lake of Lough Bunny, look out for the historical ruins of the Boston and Skaghard Castles.
