Rainy days
Wilde Irish Chocolates is County Clare's original chocolate factory, established in 1997, and is an attraction on the shores of Lough Derg. They provide chocolate lovers of all ages a chance to see behind the scenes and experience the sounds and aromas of a real working chocolate factory.

It is free of charge to visit Wilde Irish Chocolates, at Tuamgraney, County Clare, giving visitors the chance to see what goes on in a chocolate factory. Visitors can also book one of their chocolate factory experiences which are suitable for families, children, independent travellers and small groups.

As well as the original chocolate factory, there is also the Hot Chocolate Café and Coffee Dock, a Build Your Own Chocolate Bar experience and a delightful chocolate shop.

At the core of what Wilde Irish Chocolates do is a dedication to crafting not just chocolates but beautiful pieces of edible art, designed to delight your taste buds and ignite your imagination. Committed to sustainability, their chocolate is sourced exclusively from 100% sustainable cocoa production and their packaging is now 90% free of plastic and fully recyclable.

This is a rewarding stop on your trip to Lough Derg, Killaloe and the Clare Lakelands, especially perfect for rainy days, so make time for a visit.

There is free parking available for cars, minibuses and coaches.
