Gormú Swim Experiences provide two guided sea swims each day in the stunning waters of Castlehaven. Begin your morning with a peaceful dawn pilgrimage and hot breakfast, or end your day with a magical night swim through glowing baraois, the local word for bioluminescence.
Led by local guides Celine and Conor Ó Buachalla, these small group swims combine safety, serenity, and storytelling. Expect calm waters, ancient headlands, and tales of the sea that go back generations. The dawn experience is reflective and soulful, while the night swim is playful and otherworldly. Both are deeply rooted in place, tradition, and care. Wetsuits, swim buoys, and special lights are provided, along with warm hospitality. It is West Cork at its most elemental.
