This is a short 5km looped walk which takes you along a scenic stretch of the Burtonport Old Railway Corridor and back to your starting point at St Columba's Community Centre.

The start and finish points for this walk is St. Columbas Community Centre car park in Acres, Burtonport. The walk which is along some tarred lanes and surfaced track, has an abundance of floura and fauna which provides this trail with a splendid diversity of colour and sound that changes regularly with the seasons. There are many old railway features along the trail including a beautiful stone bridge, accommodation crossing - pillars and a beautiful woodland area.

St. Columbas Community Centre at the carpark is also worth a visit as it houses a fantastic collection of photographs and a railway exhibition courtesy of the local Burtonport Heritage Group.
