Dunfanaghy Golf Course in County Donegal, offers a true links golfing experience combined with magnificent coastal scenery, spectacular ocean views and a challenging test of golf all year round.

Nestled on the glorious western shores of Sheephaven Bay with its blue flag beaches and stunning coastal scenery, Dunfanaghy Golf Club in County Donegal, sits on the edge of the village of Dunfanaghy in the shadow of Muckish Mountain.

Golf has been played on the seaside links of Dunfanaghy for over 100 years. The course was laid out in 1905 by Harry Vardon, six times winner of the British Open. Many years later a young boy named Paul McGinley learned to play golf on the fairways of Dunfanaghy. Paul McGinley went on to become Europe's Ryder Cup Captain in 2014.

Dunfanaghy Golf Club offers an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities among views of Killahoey Beach, Sheephaven Bay and the harbour of Portnablagh. The old links course offer an enjoyable round for novice golfers, whilst offering a challenging day for the more experienced golfers.
