Killahoey Beach (Tra na Cille), also known as Dunfanaghy Beach, is located close to the town of Dunfanaghy (Dun Fionnachaidh) on the northern coast of County Donegal.
Killahoey Beach is near Dunfanaghy on County Donegal’s north coast. It is a sandy beach just over 1km long. It has a large inflowing estuary including a large mud flat at the east of the beach. The catchment area is an idyllic location for bird watching. The surrounding views include Horn Head and Muckish Mountain.
