Muck'n'Muffins of Dunfanaghy, County Donegal sells an interesting collection of pottery modelled in its ground floor studio as well as a range of contemporary gifts. The coffee shop overlooks the square and pier and across to the bay to Horn Head.

In Dunfanaghy, County Donegal in a three storey building originally built as a grain store in the 1800s and now beautifully renovated, Deborah and Emma Moore are creating hand turned quality Dunfanaghy pottery.

The Pottery is made in the ground floor workshop, using mostly throwing and hand building techniques. The bisque fired pots are individually glazed and fired. The colourful selection of original stoneware ranges from tableware to sculptural pieces.

The Gift Shop sells Deborah and Emma's pottery, as well as a large range of Fair Trade gifts from around the world including scarves, jewellery, candles and candle holders. Clocks made from recycled vinyl records and beer bottles are on sale and designer bags, hand made soap and bath bombs, mobiles and classic toys are stocked.

Upstairs, in the Muck ‘n’ Muffin’s coffee shop, the coffee and hot chocolate are highly recommended and soup, toasties, wraps, sandwiches, quiche, fajitas, salads, gateaux and of course muffins are served. There are some few gluten free choices.

Muck ‘n’ Muffins is located in Dunfanaghy, a coastal village on the Horn Head peninsula on the shores of picturesque Sheep Haven Bay. Its miles of unspoilt wilderness, sandy beaches, dramatic cliff scenery and secluded harbours all add to the beauty of this region. The town has a lovely nineteenth century pier which in former times made the town a commercial trading centre but encroaching sands have silted the harbour. The shifting sands have also formed a large lake, 'New Lake', which is good for brown trout fishing. The area offers some well marked walks especially around Horn Head and Ards Forest Park to the south east of the town.
