Visit Narin beach near the village of Portnoo in Donegal and enjoy a walk on fine, white sands.
Nearly 2km long, the strand is perfect for a long walk any time of year. Lifeguards on duty from June until August make it a popular spot for swimming. Set in a cove and with the welcome protection of Dunmore Head, the beach is also relatively sheltered from the elements.
Nearby toilet facilities and ample parking are great for planning an all-day visit. There are also plenty of local shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.
