Silverworks is part of The Collective shop on Drury Street in Dublin 2. They offer a range of courses in jewellery making for beginners and the more experienced alike. For the visitor, the 2 hour classes are ideal for making memories and creating your own sterling silver memento of your time in Dublin. Prices are reasonable and classes are kept small, with a mix of locals and visitors.

In the Forge a Silver Ring taster class, every ring is individual. You can choose from three different hammered textures, combining them in your own way, with a matte or shiny finish. In another short class, you learn the ten step process to make a silver charm, or pendant. Choose from eight different pendant shapes and add your initial. The result is a stunning handmade gift for yourself or a loved one.

Many who participate in the Forge a Silver Ring class discover a new hobby and a love of this ancient craft. Silverworks provides longer courses for those who wish to learn some advanced techniques like gem setting, wax carving and more.
