A verdant 7.4km trail, Clonbur Wood Loop Trail leads you through charming mixed woodland and along the south shore of serene Lough Mask.

An easy, flat loop, it takes 2.5 hours to complete and traverses forest road and track.

Enjoy all the gems of this County Galway landscape, from the islands that pepper Lough Mask to the striking limestone pavements underfoot and scenic Clonbur River too.

Native and exotic tree species like Beech, Ash, Hazel, Birch, Willow, Yew, Scots Pine and Larch make up this stunning natural scenery.

Once your woodland explorations are complete, the pretty Gaeltacht village of Clonbur is the place to stop for that welcome cup of tea.
