Two centuries of Killarney’s history resonate in the natural stone walls of Bricín Restaurant & Irish Craft Shop in the lake land town's High Street. Owners Johnny and Paddy McGuire incorporated antique timber and stained glass into the restoration of the original building almost 20 years ago.

Johnny and Paddy’s interest in Irish culture is reflected in the choice of the Gaelic name, Bricín, which is now synonymous with quality and individuality in Killarney. Bricín is the Gaelic word for 'little trout' and is also the name of a picturesque stone bridge on the Dinis Peninsula in Killarney National Park.

Visit the craft shop, which stocks some of the best of Irish craftsmanship. The restaurant serves local produce such as crab claws, beef, fish, duck, chicken, vegetarian options and of course the Killarney Boxty (potato pancake) a house speciality. Bricín is proud of their traditional homemade desserts which should bring you back in time!

Bricín is located in the heart of Killarney town, home to Killarney National Park and close to the McGillycuddy Reeks mountains, Gap of Dunloe to mention but a few. It's the perfect base to experience the famous Ring of Kerry and all of South West of Ireland.
