Cruise around Skellig Michael and get to see this UNESCO World Heritage Site from a unique perspective. The cruise lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Listen to the history of Skelligs and surrounding area.

Skellig Michael Cruises is a boat tour operator that offers you the cruise of a lifetime around Skellig Michael and enables you to see this UNESCO World Heritage Site from a unique perspective. The boat tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

The mission is to give people, who may not be comfortable with, or are unable to climb Skellig Michael, the opportunity to get up close and personal with this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The cruise on the Marber Therese II also allows you, the people who are unable to climb the great rock, to get to see this wonder of the world first-hand. Many people who come to Portmagee are unable to climb Skellig Michael for a variety of reasons; young families, age, disability or time constraints etc. This is where Skellig Michael Cruises come in!

They are the only operator that goes around both rocks giving you a great opportunity to discover both islands. This is the way to fully appreciate these amazing jewels of nature.

Skellig Michael is undoubtedly one of the natural wonders of the world. It is located 12km (8 miles) off the coast of Portmagee, in the south west of Ireland. Skellig Michael bursts out of the wild Atlantic, soaring to reach the sky and on some days it surpasses the sky line. Skellig Michael stands proudly at 218 metres (714ft) above the sea level.

There is no doubt that there are many vantage points on the Skellig ring and Ring of Kerry respectively, but none of them compares with what you will experience in the Marber Therese ll; you really get up close and personal to these amazing rocks.

There are two rocks out there in the Atlantic; one of them is the Skellig Michael and the other is the Small Skellig. The Small Skellig is determined not to be out done by his bigger brother. The Small Skellig enjoys a world famous reputation itself, as it is the second largest colony of gannets in the whole world. It is the home to more than 27,000 pairs of such birds.

People visit the Skellig Michael and the Small Skellig for different reasons; some due to their religious beliefs, some may be bird lovers and others to enjoy this bare rock, jutting out of the wild Atlantic, defiantly standing there. Irrespective of what prompted you to visit, Skellig Michael Cruises assure you that you will be left inspired.
