Castlecomer Discovery Park and Visitor Centre is an 80 acre discovery park in the Castlecomer Demesne, which was once part of the estate farmyard, gardens, stable yard and leisure grounds of the Wandesforde family.
The Castlecomer Visitor Centre houses a reception area and a coal mining exhibition. The grounds feature mixed woodland along the River Deen, with a range of activities and attractions to enjoy. The woodlands have themed walks and wooden sculptures. The park is free to visit and ideal for a family day out.
The Skywalk Challenge features 40 aerial games over three levels, including two surprise ziplines and a Free Fall experience. Pre-booking is essential for the Skywalk Challenge and boating activities.
The restored stables are home to a growing community of craftspeople and artists.
