Experience Drioglann Loch Measc in County Mayo, a craft distillery using copper stills to make malt whiskey, vodka and gin. Take a guided tour, and appreciate the outstanding natural beauty of the Tuar Mhic Éadaigh Gaeltacht.

Drioglann Loch Measc (Lough Mask Distillery) overlooks magnificent Lough Mask from the foothills of the rugged Partry Mountains. Lough Measc Gin is inspired by the wild juniper berries that grow around the beautiful lough while Lough Measc Single Malt Whiskey is made using only the finest malt barley and clear waters from Lough Mask.

Join one of the guided tours, which start hourly on the hour and listen as your guide gives an introduction to the distillery. Then, it's time to visit the production halls. Hear and see how each stage of the production process works including malting, cooking, fermenting, distilling and bottling.

Check out the unique smells, feel the heat in the air from the distilling process and practice your cúpla focal in this Irish-speaking area. Learn from the experts and take the opportunity to ask questions about the small batches of wonderfully rich spirits.
