Wild Atlantic Outdoors - is an adventure education provider offering; Adventure Journeys, Courses and Outdoor Activities. Exploring and learning about the local environment, via Hill Walking, Kayaking, Rock Climb/Abseil, Scuba Diving/Snorkelling.

Wild Atlantic Outdoors (WAO) is an adventure and education provider offering outdoor activities for recreation whilst exploring and learning about the local environment.

To accomplish this they focus on ‘Adventure Journeys’ with the use of Hill Walking, Kayaking, Rock Climb/Abseil, Scuba Diving/Snorkelling, Gorge Walking, and Coasteering activities. The above activities offer a medium to deliver outdoor education, an awareness of the local environment, and our place within it, whilst connecting with nature, encouraging personal and social development and of course, having fun.

WAO also runs courses for qualifications within these activities. They hope to attract people from all walks of life into their outdoor discovery inspiring them to be more connected with the world around them. Not limited to but based in the West of Ireland.

Adventure Journeys: A great way to unwind from the day to day stresses of life. It can grow environmental awareness and personal development, giving you a true outdoor experience. Let them know what you would like to do, what activities you are interested in, they can link them and plan together a personalised journey for you from 1 to 3+ days.

Activities: WAO offer specific dedicated sessions 0.5 day+ in the following activities, for beginners exploring something new to advanced practitioners and those wishing to gain accreditation in a sport. Activities offer a fun medium to deliver outdoor education, awareness of the local environment and our place within it, connecting with nature, providing personal and social development.

Kayaking: Paddling surrounded by amazing views from a different perspective on a lake, river, or sea. Exercise or a chilled out trip in a boat it's all about enjoying where we are.

Scuba Diving/Snorkelling: Try a PADI Discover Scuba Dive! It gives you the perfect introduction to the underwater world. A little theory followed by a short snorkel then on with equipment and take your first breaths to experience and explore the marine world.

Rock Climb / Abseil: Get to grips with movement and balance as you Rock Climb in some stunning locations. Followed by an optional Abseil, you can rappel down the crag at your own pace taking in the surroundings.

Coasteering: Leaping, splashing, swimming, scrambling, reading swells and observing the marine life to explore the ocean formed coastline with its caves and rock features.

Hillwalking: Experience the scenic route with a lowland walk or get the feeling of being on top of the world summiting a mountain to enjoy the vast landscape views with a hot cup of tea.

Gorge: Jump and slide into pools, wade and make your way up waterfalls, swim and float with the flow to experience a variety of river features and water carved rock in beautiful places.

Courses: Offered in Kayaking, PADI Scuba Diving, Hillwalking and Rock Climbing.
