Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre is a picturesque equestrian centre located in the stunning, unspoiled, mountain countryside of north County Tipperary, within 20km of Nenagh.

Located deep in Ireland’s horse country, the Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre is surrounded by the beautiful mountain countryside of Borrisoleigh in County Tipperary, a county long known for its association with horses and for producing many world champions.

In an area steeped in history, a trek can find riders stumbling across ancient ring and hill forts, standing stones and wonderful ruins. There is access to hundreds of acres of mountain pastures. Guided treks can be anything from an hour to a day long.

Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre are happy to take riders of all levels on their treks whether a beginner or a seasoned rider. Groups of up to 10 are catered for on a trek or hack, and for customer comfort, groups are not mixed. Riders are also welcome to be accompanied on a trek alone, or just with a couple of friends.

Lessons for children and adults are also available as are residential riding holidays, pony camps and courses on horsemanship.
