Waterford Greenway Bike Hire has three depots along the Dungarvan, Kilmacthomas and Waterford route. Bikes can be picked up at any shop. Large groups, school tours, corporate events and parties are welcome.

The Waterford Greenway is 46km long from Dungarvan in County Waterford to Waterford City. Cycling at a leisurely pace, this journey will take approximately five hours to complete, allowing for rest breaks.

Visitors can stop halfway for lunch in Kilmacthomas Village. There are a number of suitable rest points along the route which include O’Mahoney’s pub in Durrow, Mount Congreve House and Gardens, Kilmeaden, and the Waterford and Suir Valley Railway. During the summer months there are various pop-up shops along the route.

Depots are open daily and booking in advance is advisable in order to arrange your pick-up location, bike and equipment requirements. A full price list and booking details are available on the website and prices includes bike, safety gear and locks.

The Kilmacthomas store is located in the visitor centre, oppsite the famine workhouse. The Waterford City store is located on Hanover street.
