CaToCa Fine Food and Giftware offers visitors idyllic tea rooms set in the bachelor wing of the historic attraction of Emo Court and Gardens, County Laois.

CaToCa Fine Food and Giftware is located at Emo Court and Gardens, an Office of Public Works heritage site and one of the few private houses and gardens designed by the architect James Gandon, who designed it in 1790.

The house is set within beautiful gardens and parkland. The restored tea rooms, formally opened in 2005 can cater for groups from 1 to 80. The tea rooms are divided into 4 separate, restored, period rooms, catering for private groups of 20, and outdoor dining within the walled tea room gardens.

CaToCa tea rooms pride themselves on using artisan and home baked produce which is fresh, local, wild and where possible, organic. The menu offers customers a wide range of options from full Irish breakfast, bagels, wraps, quiches, wide selection of salads, wild boar and hazelnut terrine.

The tea rooms offer high tea in the afternoon with a selection of creamed, home baked scones and local raspberry preserve, to a delectable choice of cakes and pastries. The menus are vegetarian, celiac and family friendly, carefully prepared and served by our qualified team.

The CaToCa Fine Food and Giftware facilitates ample car and bus parking with easy access. To maintain our high level of service to all customers, The CaToCa Fine Food and Giftware management kindly ask ask that all groups must be pre-booked. Customers to the tea rooms can also enjoy a guided tour of The Emo Court and Gardens guided (reservations required)and the Irish country collectables and local hand crafted gifts.

The CaToCa Fine Foods and Giftware is an ideal stop for family outings and avid walkers, as they will not only enjoy the delicious food offered by the tea rooms, but can also avail of the walking routes with natural wildlife flora and fauna.

Baby changing room, guide dog watering bowls, children's menus, smoking area and walks are all available to facilitate visitors on site.
